Nicholas Spies

I have been, primarily, a film/video editor. This involved inventing workflows for dealing with film for video and editing editing film on video. These workflows depended on the use of programmable calculators, and later, computers. This led me to the computer language, FORTH, and writing a book, with Mahlon Kell: 'FORTH: A Text and Reference', Kelly/Spies, 1986, Prentice Hall.

My wife, Beth, works for Pfizer as a manager of quality assurance.
